  • This 100-hour immersive professional certification explores an integrative and evidence-informed approach to Sound Therapy.

    Designed for wellness practitioners, facilitators, yoga teachers, therapists, coaches, retreat leaders, and individuals passionate about holistic wellbeing, the program combines science-based knowledge, trauma-aware facilitation, practical therapeutic skills, and immersive hands-on experience.

    Throughout the training, students explore how sound, vibration, music, rhythm, breath, and presence may support relaxation, nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, deep rest, mindfulness, and human connection.

    The training takes place at Back of Beyond
    Wellness retreat Kahanmodara, Sri Lanka is an eco-lodge and nature sanctuary located just a 10-minute walk from the secluded shores of Kahandamodara Beach near Tangalle. It is a retreat designed intentionally around the philosophy of "unplugging" from the modern world to immerse completely in the peace of the Sri Lankan wilderness.

    Participants can stay at the retreat venue at shared 2-3 students room (limited spaces). All inclusive price (3 meals and snacks included):
    double room - 67 USD per person
    triple room - 55 USD per person

    Students can also stay at any accommodation nearby, and pay 200 USD for 2 meals and tea for all training.

    An international sound therapy educator, wellness facilitator, and founder of Shantika Sound Healing Academy.

    With more than 20 years of experience in yoga, meditation, holistic wellbeing, and therapeutic practices, she has guided thousands of participants through trainings, retreats, and sound-based experiences across Thailand, China, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Australia, Austria and internationally.

    Her work integrates evidence-informed sound therapy, trauma-aware facilitation, nervous system regulation, vibroacoustic approaches, meditation, somatic practices, and holistic wellbeing education.

    Svetlana specializes in creating immersive educational experiences that combine professional practitioner development with deep personal transformation, supporting students in building authentic and sustainable wellness pathways.

    Through Shantika Academy, she collaborates with wellness resorts, retreat centers, hospitals, educators, therapists, and international wellbeing communities while training practitioners from around the world.

    Nimesha is the official representative and lead organizer of SHANTIKA in Sri Lanka, coordinating SHANTIKA’s professional trainings, educational programmes, retreats and community events across the country.

    With over five years of experience in wellness, she facilitates integrative practices combining sound, yoga, meditation, breathwork and mind-body approaches.
    She is a KRI-certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, trained in the KRI 21 Stages of Meditation, and has completed 200 hours of professional Sound Therapy training with SHANTIKA International Institute of Integrative Wellness.

    Her approach integrates traditional contemplative practices with an evidence-informed understanding of stress physiology, autonomic nervous-system regulation, interoception and mind-body awareness.

    As SHANTIKA’s representative in Sri Lanka, Nimesha plays a central role in developing our local community and creating high-quality, professionally organized learning experiences aligned with SHANTIKA’s international standards.
  • Karn, Nada Yoga & Meditation
    Karn is a meditation teacher and practitioner of Nada Yoga — the ancient yogic practice often translated as the “Yoga of Sound” or “Yoga of Inner Listening.”
    Rooted in traditional yoga and meditation philosophy, Nada Yoga explores how sound, vibration, breath, silence, mantra, and deep listening may support meditation, awareness, concentration, emotional balance, and inner stillness.

    For more than 10 years, Karn has explored yoga philosophy, meditation traditions, breath-based practices, and contemplative approaches supporting self-awareness, presence, and nervous system balance.

    His teaching combines traditional yogic wisdom with grounded and accessible guidance, helping students cultivate mindfulness, therapeutic presence, and deeper connection through meditation and sound.

    Karn has guided numerous Sound Healing Trainings, meditation immersions, workshops, and retreats, sharing practices rooted in simplicity, awareness, and direct experience.

    Within the training, Karn shares Nada Yoga philosophy, meditation, breath-based practices, mindful listening techniques, mantra, and approaches supporting inner stillness, concentration, and therapeutic presence.
