Because this is a small group experience, spaces are naturally limited. Once your deposit is in, you’ll gain immediate access to parts of the course, including:
    • A private somatic experiencing session with me
    • Breathwork journeys (join any community sessions I host online, or in-person if you’re nearby)
    • A guided somatic journaling practice
    • The full course book list
This way, you can begin exploring and integrating the work right away, even before our live calls officially begin.

  • Breath as the Bridge: Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator Training
    About the Training
This training focuses on Conscious Connected Breathwork — a gentle yet powerful practice that works in partnership with the body, nervous system, and subconscious mind. It honors each person’s own inner intelligence, rather than pushing anyone into an experience that isn’t right for them.

In every session, the breath brings you exactly what you need. Some days that might look like a deep emotional release. Other times it may be clarity, presence, or an unexpected sense of calm. This is what makes Conscious Connected Breathwork so unique — it’s like an adaptogen for the nervous system and the soul. Just as adaptogenic herbs shift their effect depending on what your body needs, this practice morphs and responds in real time. Nothing is forced, nothing fabricated — only what your system is ready to access and integrate.

    What Makes This Training Unique
This isn’t simply breathwork facilitator training. What makes it truly unique is the integration of somatic therapy principles, drawn from the work of Somatic Experiencing. Participants won’t just learn how to facilitate powerful conscious connected breath journeys– they’ll also gain tools to work with the nervous system directly.

You’ll pull back the curtain on your own patterns, understand the “why” behind your stress responses, and learn how to digest stuck energy in a safe, titrated way. These same skills will become part of how you support your clients, and help them regulate, release, and integrate their experiences with more ease.

By weaving together breathwork and somatic therapy, you’ll become a facilitator with both power and sensitivity. You’ll know how to create a container where clients feel safe enough to let go, and supported enough to meet whatever arises. This is the difference between simply guiding someone through an experience, and holding space for true transformation.

    Working Across Modalities
Another beautiful thing about this style of breathwork is how seamlessly it combines with other healing arts. Breath is a natural partner to sound healing, amplifying the vibrational medicine of instruments and allowing people to feel sound on an even deeper level. It also complements yoga, meditation, bodywork, and other holistic practices, adding a layer of integration that helps people embody what they learn on the mat or in the sound bath.

Whether you’re already guiding sound, movement, or energy work, or you’re simply passionate about your own growth, this training will not only elevate your skill set, it will also support the very transformation you’ve been seeking for yourself.

If you’ve been looking for the missing piece to bring more depth, embodiment, and transformation into your sound work, yoga practice, or healing offerings – this is it. Conscious Connected Breathwork, supported by somatic tools, has a way of unlocking layers that other modalities can’t always reach on their own. This training will not only expand what you can offer your clients, it will also be the container that supports your own next level of growth.

  • Maeve Downey
Maeve Downey, a native of the state of Maine, brings a unique blend of scientific knowledge, somatic exploration, and deep mindfulness practice to her role as a breathwork facilitator. Growing up surrounded by nature, Maeve developed a lifelong connection to the outdoors and a fascination with movement in all forms. Her curiosity about how the mind and body influence one another led her to study Biochemistry at university.

Seeking a new way of living after graduation, Maeve moved to Thailand and was completely captivated by its vibrant culture, language, and breathtaking landscapes. Immersing herself in Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and mindfulness practices, she later discovered breathwork and somatic experiencing—modalities that felt like the perfect synthesis of her passions.

Today, Maeve is dedicated to guiding others toward transformation and alignment through these powerful practices. Offering private and group sessions, both in-person and online, Maeve supports individuals on their journey to a powerfully vibrant and fully embodied version of themselves.
